Overview
Morning practice takes place inside an active sumo stable, where professional wrestlers train as part of their regular daily routine. Guests will observe the training from a designated viewing area and have the opportunity to see the wrestlers practice traditional techniques up close.
Your local English-speaking guide will provide an introduction before the training and help you understand the training environment, customs, and etiquette. During the training session, please remain quiet and follow the instructions of the guide and stable staff.
Because each sumo stable has its own schedule and rules, the training time and viewing arrangements may vary depending on the selected location.
