You arrive in central Takamatsu, the largest city on Shikoku island and a hub of Kagawa’s food and drink culture. The city’s compact layout means its bar districts sit within walking distance of one another, making it well-suited for an evening on foot. Your local guide meets you at the starting point and introduces the area’s drinking culture before leading you into the first neighborhood of the night.
From there, you move through three separate bar districts over the course of the evening, stopping at one venue in each area. At every bar, you order drinks and food from the menu, paying for your own consumption on the spot.
