Ibusuki
Overview
Ibusuki, located in the southernmost part of Kagoshima Prefecture, is famous for its hot springs, particularly the unique "sand baths" where visitors are buried in naturally heated sand. The area is also known for its beautiful coastline, with scenic spots such as the picturesque Lake Ikeda, and its close proximity to the active Sakurajima volcano.
