Overview
Sakae Ward is one of Yokohama’s 18 wards, blending lush green spaces with cultural heritage. Key attractions include Taya no Dōkutsu—an ancient Buddhist cave meditation site at Teisenji Temple; Yokohama Nature Observation Forest, a sprawling woodland for bird‑ and wildlife‑watching; the Kanagawa Prefectural Earth Citizens Plaza (Asuburaza), an interactive science and environmental center; Noten Yumoto Yukai Sōkai Taya, a popular open‑air hot spring facility; and Tanaka Farm, where visitors can enjoy seasonal strawberry picking.
